Another TRS leader 'jump jilaani'

It is now an open secret that the TRS is facing the biggest crisis of all times. With party president K Chandrasekhara Rao playing truant, the party leaders are chalking out their own plans to secure their future.

Latest in the series of defections from the party is former MLA from Cheryal Kommuri Pratap Reddy, a staunch protagonist of Telangana and a loyalist of TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao. Pratap Reddy lost to Minister for Irrigation Ponnala Lakshmaiah recently. Pratap Reddy is now all set to join the Congress.

In fact, Warangal district, once a stronghold of the TRS, is now full of dissidents. It started with former MLAs Mandadi Satyanarayana Reddy, Bandaru Sara Rani, K Lakshma Reddy and Duggyala Srinivasa Rao, who are now in the Congress; and later, the dissidence spread to former MP D Ravindra Naik, who has now resumed his tirade against the party chief for his “indifferent” attitude in addressing the issues concerning the party. Another former MP from Mulug Azmeera Chandulal is also on the verge of quitting the party. Even the TRS district unit president, Mr Kola Janardhan, also joined the Congress and every one blamed Mr KCR’s exploitation of the sentiment.

If rumours are to be believed, yet another former MP B Vinod Kumar, who made controversial remarks against KCR, is also chalking out his own plans and might come out sooner or later.
