Sunil is one of the leading comedians in contemporary Telugu movies and is enjoying a good stint in Telugu cinema. But is Sunil still a comedian? Well, certainly after you ‘Maryada Ramanna’, directed by Rajamouli.
Sunil debuted as a hero in the film ‘Andaala Ramudu’, which has achieved good commercial success, and he was very selective in his hero roles that came after. He’s been doing consistently well as comedian during the era of Brahmanandam, Ali, MS Narayana etc.
But freshly, with ‘Maryada Ramanna’ being a hit film, it seems that Sunil has apparently hiked his remuneration and is now charging 2 crore rupees for his next film titled ‘Nakenti’ (as a hero).
‘Nakenti’ movie is directed by Parasuram (Bujji), who earlier directed ‘Yuvatha’ and ‘Anjaneyulu’. This movie is produced by Tolly to Holly films. Also, Sunil is also acting as a hero for Ram Gopal Varma movie ‘Katha, Screenplay Darsakatvam’. So there’s no stopping Sunil.
