The Chief Minister K Rosaiah sees a hidden hand behind the BCs agitation for fee reimbursement launched by the BC leader R Krishnaiah. The State government had clarified that the fee reimbursement had become an additional burden due to financial crisis and the problem was there even during Dr Rajasekhar Reddy’s regime.
Though the Sakshi group condemned it saying that there was no backlog during Dr Reddy’s tenure, the Chief Minister and his Cabinet colleagues reiterated that the problem was faced during Reddy’s time and would be solved soon.
Krishnaiah had approached the TD chief N Chandrababu Naidu, the PRP chief K Chiranjeevi and other leaders seeking support for his hunger strike. He launched the hunger strike to mount pressure on the government to release the fees for the students studying in the corporate colleges. However, the Chief Minister discounted the agitation and alleged that a hidden force was encouraging the agitation only to tarnish his image. The Chief Minister is furious with his cabinet colleagues and told them that he would take up the issue with the high command.
