2 die, 15 injured at Magadheera show

Two persons were electrocuted and 15 others injured following a short circuit at Bhavani theatre in Kazipet,Warangal, on Thursday night.The incident took place at the booking counter of the theatre, where tickets were being issued for the second show of the movie Magadheera, starring Ram Charan Tej. The impact of the short circuit was severe as hundreds of people were jostling near the booking counter grills, which were made of iron.Sources said the short circuit happened when the wired iron grills came in contact with a live electric wire.One of the deceased has been identified as Mora Praveen Kumar, an MCA student of the National Institute of Technology, here. The other who died in the incident is 30-year-old Ganesh.
