There is a story that Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore had a romantic encounter with Victoria Ocampo, the Argentine literary beauty who hosted the Nobel laureate’s two-month stay in Buenos Aires in 1924. Argentine film director Pablo Cesar will visit India to scout for an Indian actor to play Tagore in his film “Thinking of Him”, an Indian-Argentine co-production on the Tagore-Ocampo love story.
The film’s narrative will deal with a literary student who revels in Tagore’s poetry and through the poems recount the relationship between Tagore and Ocampo. The film will be shot in Spanish, English and Hindi. Arindam Nandy will co-produce this film along with Pablo Cesar and other Indian production houses.
