Recently, the celebrities of entire South Indian film industry had gathered to honor Kamal Haasan for completing ‘50 Golden Years’ in filmdom. South Indian Artists Association President Sarath Kumar requested Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi to rename ELDAMS ROAD in Chennai as Dr. Kamal Haasan Road.
The occasion witnessed coming together of Mohan Lal, Mammooty, and Telugu actor Venkatesh, and also of academy award winner A.R. Rahman and more personalities. Prabhu Deva was supposed to perform a dance on the dais for the compiled songs of Kamal Haasan.Nonetheless, considering the protest by various women organizations in Chennai against the affair of Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara in favor of his wife Ramalath, the organizers of this show requested both Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara not to attend the program.
Much frustrated, Prabhu Deva scolded his wife over the phone.
