Former Telugu Mahila president Roja is desperate to join the Congress at the earliest, but she is not getting the right opportunity, following the demise of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
After facing humiliating comments from Mahila Congress president Ganga Bhavani, Roja met YSR’s friend and advisor K V P Ramachandra Rao at his residence a couple of days ago, but there, too, she did not get a positive response. “I am busy. I don’t have time to think about you,” KVP told Roja.
Having no other option, a desperate Roja went all the way to Idupulapaya and met Jagan, in the name of calling on him. In fact, she had already called on Jagan at Begumpet residence to express condolences. This time, she met him to request him to take into the Congress. Later, she declared that Jagan is the only saviour of the party.
If she wanted to join the Congress, she could have met PCC president D Srinivas and it would have been done within minutes. But she wants to be in the Jagan’s camp. Hence, this desperation.
