The reports that former minister and senior leader from Secunderabad Talasani Srinivasa Yadav will be joining the Congress has made Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu jittery.
Naidu wondered why Talasani has taken the decision inspite of he making so many promises: like making Talasani the party candidate for mayor’s post and including him into the politburo. Apparently, the lure of lucre and power seems to have attracted Talasani towards the Congress and prompted him to meet Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy again on Monday.
The TDP president held hectic parleys with senior party leaders and Greater Hyderabad TDP in-charges to decide as to what to do Talasani and the future course of action in the city party. Naidu decided to wait and watch for Talasani’s next move, rather than taking any action in hurry.
