Security has been beefed up at Hotel Taj Krishna, where Indian tennis star Sania Mirza will get engaged to her heart-throb Mohammad Sohrab Mirza at 8.30 pm on Friday.
Right from Thursday, the hotel management has been doing over action, screening even important guests and foreign dignitaries. Media persons who came to attend the press conference of an Australian delegation were thoroughly frisked and were not allowed to click pictures or shoot the dignitaries on the hotel premises. They did not even allow the media to talk to Indian parents of those students who would be going to Australia.
The hotel staff members were asking every guest where he or she wants to go and is escorting him/her till the specific venue. The ball room, where Sania would be engaged, has almost been cordoned off from general guests.
The family is proposing to allow a photo show at 9pm, soon after the formal engagement is over and before the dinner starts.
