The final decision is to release Mallanna / Kanthaswamy on August 15th. Though there were widespread reports that Mallanna /Kanthaswamy would hit the marquee on August 7th, the film unit decided to delay the release for a week to coincide with the Independence Day. The reason stated is that Mallanna /Kanthaswamy is all about money laundering and therefore involves a degree of patriotism. Due to this, the team felt that it would be apt to release on August 15th, the day India got its independence. Mallanna /Kanthaswamy is directed by Susi Ganesan. The film has Vikram and Shriya in the lead roles. The songs have already proved to be chartbusters. Let’s find out how the film fares on August 15th.
