Kangna Ranaut seems intent on breaking away from her intense and serious image that she’s earned with most of her previous films.
From playing a schizophrenic to an alcoholic, she’s done it all. But now Kangna’s had her fill it seems, and the sassy actress who’s already signed her first comedy film has now signed yet another romantic comedy. Produced and directed by Aanand L Rai, the film called Tanu Weds Manu will see Kangna play Manu opposite R Madhavan who plays Tanu.
“Yes, they have been signed to do this movie. We wanted an interesting and never before seen couple on screen. I think the audiences will also love to watch this new pair,” revealed Rai. Kangna, too, seemed very excited about going in for a role change. “I am so done with exploring my dark side on screen. Now it’s time for a change and getting romantic seems like a good idea,” she laughed.
