Slated to be one of the most promising ventures, the film ‘Oy’ came in with lot of expectations but then it turned out to be a major dud at the box office. Since then, a post mortem of sorts has been happening trying to figure out what went wrong and where.
While the shocking and heavy look of Shamili is said to be one cause, there is also another thing that got revealed. Inside sources say that the film was actually estimated to be made at a budget of Rs 8 crores but then, the makers ended up with a budget of Rs 12 crores as investment.
This has resulted in more burdens for the makers and though the songs and cinematography has been good, the film failed to impress the audience. Now, the makers are said to be figuring out as to where the budget has overshot and how they ended up with Rs 4 crores gap.
