The Wired News reported that Facebook has only 320,000 new US users in Jun 2010 after a blockbuster gain in May 2010 of more than 7.8 million users. The monthly growth data from Inside Facebook, which supplies these numbers, seems to indicate that the popular networking site may have reached its peak.
The report stated the reasons as the controversies over privacy policies and dominance. Facebook is the second most visited website, after Google.
Finally the report suggested that Facebook will have to look for more innovative ways of managing its users, and retain them.
