Are Jagan's followers testing Sonia patience?

The central leadership has been reluctant about appointing Jagan as the chief minister. The initial strategy was to buy time and after a decent interval to either make him a minister of state at the Centre or appoint him as the deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh.

After the emotional outpourings in the immediate aftermath of YSR Reddy's death, the Center's strategy appeared to be working.But over the past week, Jagan's supporters have once again become restive and are even flexing their muscles. In private, they are hinting at forming a separate party in case Jagan is not appointed chief minister.

Senior Congress leaders, especially those sympathetic to the late chief minister's son, are dismayed at the manner in which some of his supporters are challenging the central leadership.
