State is set for the joining of glamorous heroine-turned-Telugu Mahila president Roja into the Congress.
Roja, along with minister for environment and forests Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, former TTD president Bhuman Karunakara Reddy and others, called on Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and presented him a bouquet. Later, she held talks with YSR and his advisor K V P Ramachandra Rao and others about her modalities of joining.
Apparently, her rival candidate in Chandragiri and minister for roads and buildings Galla Aruna Kumari has given her consent for Roja’s admission into the Congress. It may be mentioned that Roja tried to defect into the Congress before the elections. But she could not do so because Galla Aruna was not opposing her at that time.
What will Roja say now? She may now say she went there to discuss the problems of her constituency?
