Veera Babu falls in love with Vara Lakshmi called as Varam (Praneetha), daughter of Durga Prasad (Ahuthi Prasad), the big land lord in the village. Veera Babu woos Varam to an extent that she reminds her childhood days and recognize that Veera Babu is none other than her childhood love and accepts his love instantly.

With pressure from her father to get married to the son (Samrat) of a neighboring village head Chenchu Ramaiah (Tanikella), Vara forces Veerababu to do something. They end up getting married. When Veerababu takes her to his home, his father responds negatively. Waht veerababu did to join the families? form the remaining story.

Performances:
Siddarth : Siddharth eases into the role of a village guy, quite unlike his old lover boy movies! He even managed the East Godavari accent well to an extent, He did well in romantic scenes but surprisingly failed to excel in sentiment scenes too, which have been his best in the past movies.

Pranitha : Praneetha has shown ease before the camera and her introduction was superb as director cashed upon her sex appeal. Looks wise, she may not be that beautiful but Praneetha seems to be the right mix of glamour with performance

Rajendra Prasad :Rajendra Prasad brings all his experience to the fore. There are ordinary scenes and then there are good one, and Rajendra Prasad excels in each one of them.

Spoof on varudu : Brahmanandam and Ali as spoof to ‘Varudu’ five days marriage concept is extremely funny but bored later.

Others:Ahuthi Prasad was regular while remaining Venu, Kasi Vishwanath, Bharath, Raghu Babu, Tanikella, Sindhu Tolani, Ali were just okay

Highlights:
Pannendella Prayam Song Picturization.
Comedy

Drawbacks:
Emotional Scenes are not well on Screen
Climax

Analysis:

The first part of the film makes for an okay watch, makes you feel it's not bad at all. Watching Siddharth is fun and engaging, from which the rest of the film deviated into familiar territories. Concentration on romance was less. The last fifteen to twenty minutes is heavily insane.

The nativity and Konaseema touch added to the script has made ‘Bava’ a thorough entertainer in first half. Rambabu lost his grip as the movie progresses and his direction becomes rotten as story proceeds while audience loose enthusiasm with boring sentimental and emotional scenes.Arvind Krishna’s photography is very good and Veera Pothana’s dialogues sparked only in comedy scenes.

eRojuStory's Verdict: go for 1st half, check your patience and see rest.
Rating: 2.75/5
