Long ago veteran actor Kamal Haasan launched a big budgeted movie in his own direction named "Marudanayagan". The flick has the distinction of getting launched through the hands of the British queen. It was filmed for several days, but due to non-availability of finance at that time, the flick got stuck abruptly. News is that, during the filming of Kamal's subsequent film "Dasavatharam", its producer Oscar Ravindran came to know particulars of the shelved film and came forward to re-start "Marudanayagan". Kamal will also co-produce it and is going to start again soon, it is said.
