It is learnt that writer-turned-director Vijayendraprasad's (ace S.S. Rajamouli's father) ongoing film, tentatively titled Rajanna, produced by Nagarjuna under his Annapurna Studios banner, is a period drama set in Telangana backdrop, depicting the armed struggle against unification of Nizam region with Andhra state during 1946-1956.
KCR, president of Telangana Rasthra Samiti, has reportedly approved the script. Regular shooting began last month. The film has Sneha as the heroine. This is her second film with Nagarjuna after Sri Ramadasu.
