The fans of NT Rama Rao are up in arms against Varma. They ay that Varma has insulted their hero in Rakta Charitra.
The Telugu Desam party leaders are not amused with the way their leader has been portrayed in the film by Varma.
The TDP leaders say that Varma with his wrong portrayal has given an impression that NT Rama Rao encouraged Paritala to do all the killings and he was taken into the party TDP only for this purpose.
The TDP leaders are staging protests at many places on this issue. For Varma this is another welcome development as it only means further free publicity for Rakta Charitra!
