MAA STARS is one of the film magazines in Telugu Cinema Industry, which is launched with much applause and on a grand scale. But the bitter fact is that the official magazine of Movie Artists Association (MAA) is not published since two months, and the 'Tutti Comedian' AVS is said to be the reason behind this.
Earlier it was known that there is an NRI investor behind the magazine and their only goal is to make up the publication to beat top film magazine 'Southscope'. However, one of the editors of the magazine 'Tutti Comedian AVS' is said to be writing news and articles favoring one community of the film industry. Rumour is that, this really irked the investor, and he has backed out of the project making the fate of 'MAA STARS' magazine uncertain. Though AVS is saying that this is only a temporary holding of publishing the magazine, insiders revealed that this is 'full stop' to the magazine and 'extra' efforts of AVS.
