Kollywood director Raghava Lawrence has planned a sequel film for his super hit Tamil movie Muni. Some time ago, he even announced that sensuous beauty Anushka will be playing the lead role in his film titled as ‘Kanchana.’ But, due to unknown reasons this project has been shelved for a while and Raghava concentrates on his other projects. But, when he finally starts this project, he announced that he is replacing Anushka with Lakshmi Rai in his film. Anushka who was said to be very much upset with his decision when rang him to know the reasons, she was shocked to hear his reply. He told Anushka that she was not apt for playing the lead role in his movie because the character needs a heroine younger than her!
Recently, Raghava has begins the shooting of Kanchana, in which all most all the team of Muni was retained. This film will be dubbed into Telugu also.
