Tollywood director Teja who almost disappeared from the industry with his last film ‘Keka’ now and then comes into media focus with other than movie related matters, often with legal or criminal cases. This time he comes out with a complaint against his friend Avinash Gupta, whom he alleges for cheating him for Rs.6 lakhs. Teja has lodged a complaint on Sunday with Jubilee Hills Police Station against Avinash. He mentioned that, when he handed over his credit card to Avinash for renewal, he has purchased items worth Rs.6 lakhs using the credit card without his knowledge. Police have registered the complaint and begins enquiry.
