Siddarth in 3idiots Telugu & Tamil Remake

Gemini Films, who purchased the Tamil-Telugu remake rights of Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots directed by Rajkumar Hirani, has finalised Mahesh Babu and Vijay to play the lead roles in the bilingual. Mahesh plays the role played by Aamir Khan in the Hindi original in Telugu while Vijay plays the same role in Tamil. Siddharth has been signed up to play R Madhavan’s role in both the versions. Jiiva is to play the third hero in the Tamil version and the third hero for Telugu is yet to be finalised. Tamil actor Sathyaraj, who enjoys a big market in Telugu, has been signed for the role of the funny professor made memorable by Boman Irani in the Hindi original.

Siddharth is currently busy with a bi-lingual titled 180, which is being directed by popular ad filmmaker Jayendra. The actor is happy because the role was first offered to Simbhu.
