Tamil Super Star Rajanikanth’s latest film ‘Robo’ audio was launched at Hyderabad on Friday evening in a grand function graced by Chiranjeevi , Mohanbabu, its hero Rajanikanth, director Shankar and many others. Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Bachchan played the female lead against Rajanikanth.
Speaking on the occasion Chiranjeevi said, ‘In fact, I thought that Rajanikanth will also join the politics after finishing his last film ‘ Shivaji ’ That’s why, I have joined the politics. But, when I turned back to see him, I found him still stick to film industry doing great films like this Robo film. In other words he has cheated me. It even makes me feel jealous about him. But, this kind of jealous is essential for any artist to motivate him for his success.”
“Yesterday, some of my fans have demanded me to act in the films again. After seeing the ‘Robo’ again I got interest to act in the films. I am very much inspired with this Robo film. I have been asking director Shankar since a long time to direct me. But, so far he didn’t come up with any idea for me. I now utilise this opportunity to remind him about my request. Now, the ball is in his court. If, he comes with a script I am ready to act in his film. I am sure that, this film ‘Robo’ will create a new record in Indian film history.”
Chiranjeevi statement might be seen as purely emotional. But, it raise a question whether he entered the politics with a real interest to serve the people or to encash his image as Mega Star? Moreover, Chiranjeevi’s readiness to act in the films indicates that he is fast losing his interest in politics and just waiting for right time to wind up his party or to merge it in Congress. According to latest information, Chiranjeevi is sending feelers to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is passing through his bad days in his party. If, Jagan positively responds to his fellers, Chiranjeevi may join hands with him and remain in the politics for a while till he find the end result of his new friendship.
