The Vizianagaram police have filed cases against the exhibitors of latest Telugu flicks Jhummandhi Nadaam and Badmash for displaying obscene posters. The posters of Jhummandhi Nadaam display a kissing scene while Badmash posters show a young boy urinating.
The producers of the movies have reportedly designed and printed these posters. Before getting displayed, the posters are normally submitted for certification from the Censor authorities; CPI (ML New Liberation) state leader Bora Subash questioned how the Censor Board could clear these posters with so much obscenity.
The left wing activists have already submitted a memorandum to the State Human Rights Commission seeking a ban on Badmash and Jhummandhi Nadaam, Bora Subash said, adding that these films are a bane to the society, encouraging the youth to tread the wrong path towards drugs, booze and womanizing.
