Rosaiah sacked Reddy, warns Jagan's followers

The Andhra Pradesh government Sunday suspended K.V. Brahmananda Reddy, managing director of state-owned Aviation Corporation Limited, allegedly for the delay in arranging a helicopter for the chief minister to undertake an aerial survey of flood-hit areas.

Though the government order cited no reason for the action, sources said the official had failed to arrange a chopper for Chief Minister K. Rosaiah on Saturday.

The chief minister has come under criticism from various quarters for the delay in conducting the aerial survey. The opposition parties pointed out how Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa had been visiting flood-hit areas in his state. Rosaiah is under impression that Jagan's followers in the administration are intentionally making Rosaiah look bad in the view of people.

If YSR had alive he would not have sacked Reddy as he was very keen on giving top posts to his loyalists and also protecting them from failures. Rosaiah seems not getting support from the officials that were recruited by YSR and loyal to Jagan during the power crisis in the Congress party. The action on K.V. Brahmananda Reddy must be seen as a warning to Jagan's followers who are not helping chief minister.
