Lok Satta to adopt villages for relief

The Lok Satta Party would adopt four villages in the flood affected districts for relief and rehabilitation.

The Lok Satta chief N Jayaprakash Narayana visited Kurnool town on Monday and interacted with the flood victims. He spoke to them over the extent of damage caused to the people due to floods. Later, he met the Kurnool district Collector and briefed him about the damage. He requested the Collector to be impartial in implementing the relief and rehabilitation programme.

The Lok Satta chief would be visiting Mahaboobnagar, Guntur and Krishna districts later this week. He told the media persons that his party would adopt two villages in Kurnool district and one each in Mahaboobnagar and Krishna districts for relief work. The party would monitor the total rehabilitation of people in these four villages, he said.
