Vimala raised a few eyebrows

Turning to glamour in Telugu, Vimala raised a few eyebrows when she sported a bikini in Lover Boy paired with Tarun. “In a full-fledged glamour role, the bikini part was in the script. I see the movie as a seachange from my Tamil films. I cannot complain of lack of variety,” says Vimala.

The lithe girl said Sandalwood doors are opening for her after the impact of Aptharaksha in a suspense-filled character. “When the director is P. Vasu, the impact is much faster,” Vimala said, with a twinkle in her eyes.
Nursing a tinge of regret in not getting the right kind of roles in Tamil, Vimala is prepared to wait. Patience is the key to success is the advice K. Balachander (director of Poi) gave her.
