TDP leaders unhappy with the new setup

On Tuesday, just a day after the party president, N. Chandrababu Naidu announced the State committee ostensibly after a ‘comprehensive exercise’ leaders expressed their unhappy .

The first one that came into the open was that of Nannapaneni Rajakumari. She is unhappy because she was not considered for the Polit Bureau membership and the general secretary’s post ‘despite seniority’.

She has gone to town accusing the leadership with favouring those who perpetually moved around Mr. Naidu and not committed leaders like her.
Priority issue

Another promising leader and Devarakadra MLA, K. Sita Dayakar Reddy, is stated to be disappointed as her husband and Makthal MLA, K. Dayakar Reddy, was not accommodated in the State committee.Mr. Naidu reportedly convinced Ms. Sita to accept the post and that party would extend all help to her.

Former Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav who threatened to walk out of the party if T. Devender Goud was re-inducted, is sulking and feels deceived.

He feels he was sidelined with a promise of bigger role in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections while others from twin cities much junior to him were offered plum posts.

His supporters cite how Zahid Ali Khan and T. Bhimsen who joined the party before elections were made Polit Bureau members. Similarly, Alladi Raj Kumar became vice-president, Arvind Kumar Goud, general secretary, G. Sayanna and Sudeesh Rambhotla, a recent entrant, spokespersons.
Hopes dashed?

Former MLA Vem Narendra Reddy and Kodangal MLA, A. Revanth Reddy were not too happy with the posts of spokespersons as they were expecting to become general secretaries.
