Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi seems to be a confused politician of all these days. He does not know what he is talking and his MLAs are doing.
His meeting with Chief Minister K Rosaiah at Tirupati and his subsequent statement that there was no better Chief Minister than Rosaiah has kicked up a hush talk in the PRP circles as to what Chiranjeevi’s intentions could be. Is he planning to back Rosaiah, in the event of a crisis in the Congress? Or is he interested in merging the PRP in the Congress?
Chiranjeevi, however, clarified on Wednesday that there was no confusion in the PRP. “I met Rosaiah at Tirupati only in the capacity as a local MLA to discuss the constituency problems. It is purely an internal matter of the Congress that who should become the Chief Minister,” he said.
On some PRP MLAs’ support to Jagan as the CM candidate, Chiranjeevi said it could be their personal opinion. “There is no split in the party. It is all media creation,” he said.
