Chaitanya Dantuluri is the son of a journalist Narayana Verma, he wanted to become a film writer but shifted to film writings. He wrote story, dialogues and songs for both versions of the entertainment media. Later when the industry got shifted to Hyderabad, he stayed back by resigning his job and took up freelance writing for movies and TV serials.
