Theater to have Bar Facilities?

According to sources, Tamil Nadu and Chennai Theatre Owners Associations were shocked when they found out that some Theater owners had petitioned the Tamil Nadu government to allow them operate a bar in the theater premises. The Theater Owners Association made it clear that no decision regarding bar facilities in Cinema Halls were made at the general body meeting. Owners have requested the chief minister M Karunanidhi and DCM Stalin not to consider the request because it would deter the family audience from visiting the theatres.
