Congress leaders on Thursday defended Communist Party of India state secretary K Narayana’s puingent remarks against his CPI-M counterpart B V Raghavulu. “Narayana has rightly said that Raghavulu has no brain. By defending admission of criminals into the CPI-M, Raghavulu has proved that he is a mindless fellow,” Government chief whip Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said. The Congress leaders are taking serious exception to the highhanded behaviour of Khammam CPI-M leader Bandi Ramesh, who allegedly beat up Congress workers. “He was an ex-naxalite. He has a criminal background. Defending such a criminal shows the mental status of Raghavulu,” they said. | |
