It was a 23-year-old man, J. Rajeswaraiah, who murdered Bollywood junior artiste, Arzoo Ali, in a lodge at Secunderabad four days ago, the police said on Wednesday. The victim, who reportedly entered flesh trade due to pecuniary problems, was throttled to death by the accused as she resisted his sexual advances, Commissioner’s Task Force (North) Inspector, V. Syam Babu, told reporters.
Rajeswaraiah, a junior artiste in Hyderabad was an assistant of a broker Siddiqui, who agreed to arrange customers for her. On Saturday morning, he entered her room and molested her. He throttled her to death with her chunni when she tried to raise an alarm; collected Rs. 6,000 kept in the room and her mobile phone and fled.
