What does one expect to happen to an actor after her film breaks box office records? Be the most sought after as offers keep pouring in. But this was not the case with actor Sneha Ullal. The damsel who came to T-town after her B-Town debut “Lucky”, didn’t quite get lucky here. And when lady luck did smile on her making her movie “Simha” with Balakrishna a blockbuster hit, Sneha did the unthinkable. Instead of holding a strong foot here, Sneha has packed her backs and is off to Mumbai. We found out the real reason. Close sources say Sneha increased her remuneration phenomenally after “Simha” and thus, was left with no offers in T-town. She then thought it best to shift base back to Mumbai as producers are not willing to pay her more than 35 lakh.
"Sneha wanted to settle down in Hyderabad but post “Simha”, she increased her fees thinking producers will pay her since her movie was a hit. Producers, however, were not ready and she lost offers. Dissapointed, she decided to go back to Mumbai and try her luck there, once again,” said a source close to Sneha.
Consequently, Sneha is now relegated to item numbers and cameos in Tollywood. The actor, however, is believed to have been telling her friends that she wanted to take a break from T-Town and therefore, didn’t sign any film.
