Despite making a big name with Vinayakudu and acting in the hit film of Shekar Kammula Happy Days her career did not go anywhere.

Sonia has been roped in to play a important role in the Mahesh Babu film ‘Ddokudu’. Srinu Vytla is the director. Samatha plays the heroine in the film.
