A.K. Antony's son film debut in Telugu

Ajith Antony, younger son of Union Defense Minister and former Kerala Chief Minister A.K. Antony, is all set to make his debut as a hero with multilingual big budget flick Oberoi, being made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

Sources say the 21-year-old hero himself has penned the story and screenplay of this action-cum-suspense thriller to be directed by Aji John, director of Jayasurya starrer Nallavan.

Ajith, who completed his degree in political science from St. Stephen’s College, New Delhi, took four months to complete the story. "When I told my intentions to my father, he advised me to complete my degree first and then pursue a career in films if I am serious about it," Ajith said to a leading newspaper. The best available technicians in the industry will be involved in the project, he added.

The film, based on the high-end competition prevailing in the business world of Mumbai, is about the struggle of an innocent boy compelled to take over a business empire following the sudden death of his father. Shooting is expected to begin in January 2011 and it will hit theatres by May. The pre-production work of this Rs. 15 crores project is on.
