2010 nandi Awards for Sale !
The annual Nandi awards given by the state government have been criticized in the past as several non-deserving films and persons were selected for them. The Nandi awards for 2009 have come as a shock for everyone who is well versed with the movie industry.
The majority opinion is that more than half the awards this time were given for reasons other than merit and talent. It is a big shock when many undeserving actors and technicians have bagged awards while real talent has gone unrecognized. It is now clear that to bag a Nandi; one does not require talent but money bags and influence.
