Ram Charan bagged the Best Hero trophy for his role in Magadheera at the Cinemaa Awards 2010 held in Hyderabad on August 17th. Anushka was the Best Heroine. Devi Sri Prasad was the Best Music Director for Aarya 2, while lyricist C. Narayana Reddy was felicitated with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Naga Chaitanya walked away with the Best Debut Male award for Josh. Brahmanandam's performance in Koncham Ishtam Koncham Kashtam earned him the Best Comedian award. Best Debut Music Director award was given to Hemachandra for Ride.
While Anuj Gurwara (Panchadhara Bomma from Magadheera) was named the Best Male Singer, Nikita Nigam (Dheera Dheera from Magadheera) was adjudged the Best Female Singer. Magadheera also won the Best Lyricist award for Chandrabose and the Best Editor award for Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. It also won the Best Art Director award (Ravinder), the Best Cinematographer award (KK Senthil Kumar) and the Best Choreographer award (Prem Rakshit).
