Tollywood actor Rajendra Prasad was slapped with a fine of Rs. 3,000 by the traffic police on Wednesday at Khairatabad after they found the four-wheeler he was driving had irregular number plate.
The actor driving Hyundai Terracan jumped signal and was intercepted by a constable, Punjagutta traffic Inspector, V.V.S. Ramalinga Raju, said. He initially argued with the constable that he was not at fault.
Meanwhile, the traffic police personnel also found that the vehicle’s number plate did not conform to the standards prescribed by the Motor Vehicle Act. They imposed a fine of Rs. 3,000 for jumping the signal and irregular number plate.
