The APCC chief, D Srinivas, on Thursday, came out with yet another shocking news. He had offered to keep off from the by-elections, if the TRS chief, K Chandrasekhar Rao, promised to bring Telangana state.
It was only the other day, Srinivas had said that AICC chief, Sonia Gandhi, had agreed to give Telangana state. Though there were no takers for his statement, hecame up with another statement asking KCR to give him guarantee on Telangana state.
If KCR gives a guarantee on Telangana state, I would drop out from the elections, the APCC chief said. He further said he would not contest this by-election if the TRS gave him the guarantee. Interestingly, KCR had made a similar offer to the Congress, two weeks ago. He had asked the Congress leaders to get a word from Sonia Gandhi on Telangana state and he would leave all the 12 seats to the Congress.
Without responding to KCR's offer, the APCC chief had made this new offer to the TRS. It is to be seen how KCR would react to this.
