Anushka's Suspense role in "Kanchana"

It is well aware that Lawrence had announced that he is bringing out a sequel to his earlier film ‘Muni’. However, the sequel was titled ‘Kanchana’, giving the audiences a hit that it would be a heroine-oriented film. In the earlier film, Lawrence, Rajkiran and Vedika played the lead roles. But in the latest flick, Lawrence had two heroines. Anushka and Lakshmi Rai playing the female leads.

Kovai Sarala is playing Lawerence’s mother. In the first part, Raj Kiran’s spirit enters Lawrence and seeks revenge. But in the sequel, there will be no spirit of Raj Kiran. The script would be entirely new and very few traces of earlier film. Anushka is said to be playing an important role and her character would be a suspense till the release of the film. Almost 25 days of shooting was done in Chennai and the remaining part would be shot in Hyderabad for another 20 days.
