Nitin, desperately in need of a superhit, hopes Sitaramula Kalyanam would hit the jackpot. Congress MLA Malla Vijaya Prakash is producing this film under the banner of Welfare Creations. Anoop Rubens is the music director. Brahmanandam, Ali, M.S. Narayana, and Jayaprakash Reddy are also in the cast.
Meanwhile, Hansika is all set to debut in Tamil opposite Dhanush with the remake of super star Rajinikanth’s romantic comedy Mappilai, directed by Rajashekhar with Amla (Nagarjuna's wife) and Sri Vidya as the heroines. The remake will be directed by Suraj, maker of Dhanush's superhit Polladhavan. Hansika came to public notice after her famous Bournvita ad, followed by Telugu films Deshamudra and Kantri and a few Hindi films.
