For ‘Victory’ Venkatesh, now in his 25th year of stardom, success is not a destination but a journey. His new venture in which he shares screen space with Kamal Hasan comes as a surprise then, considering T’wood is no place for multi-starrers. the hero may be God here, but Venkatesh insists that he is not one to be tangled in the image business. Venkatesh who is keen to experiment with his image says, “I’m learning ventriloquism for my upcoming movie Om Namo Venkatesha. I am willing to even play a villain, provided the character and the script are exciting,” says Venkatesh.
The actor has his eyes set on a Bollywood comeback too. “I have been going through a couple of scripts in Hindi. In a year of two, I see myself playing character roles in Bollywood like Nana Patekar does,” he adds. On his two nephews Daggubati Rana and Naga Chaitanya who are all set to take on Tollywood now. “I watched Josh recently. Naga Chaitanya did well, considering this is his first film. I always give my honest advice to both of them. They needn’t worry much, as there is room for everyone in this industry. Beyond that, experience will teach them their own lessons.”
