Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy appears to be unwilling to compromise on the Chief Minister post in place of his late father Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
Jagan is learnt to have told Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao that it would not be proper for him to accept the post of Deputy Chief Minister offered by the Congress high command, since there was huge expectations from his supporters, party workers and also the people.
“It would be better to remain an MP and take care of my supporters, rather than accepting a post and lower my dignity,” he reportedly told KVP. The latter will convey the same to the high command on Saturday.
