Genelia impressive as teacher in “Katha”

Actress Genelia who so far acted in enfant terrible roles that have shown her as a mischievous but chirpy next door girl, is now enacting a serious role as teacher in her forthcoming film “Katha”. Even Genelia is quite excited by this role which she says will show a different dimension of her acting prowess.

This film is being produced by Gunnam Gangaraju of Just Yellow who makes meaningful cinema within the constraints of the mainstream genre. The plot revolves around why Genelia is working as teacher at a remote place.

Sreenivas Raga is making his debut as director with this film and describes it as a romantic thriller. Arjun plays the male lead and most of the film has been shot in and around Araku near Visakhapatnam. The star cast of the film includes Prakash Raj, Raghubabu, Shafi and others. The music has been composed by SK Balachandran.

“Katha” is fast nearing completion and getting ready for release soon.
