HYDERABAD: Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi said he was an admirer of former Chief Minister Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy and described the late leader as a ‘big inspiration’ to new entrants to politics like him.
Speaking at a meeting organised by the government to condole the death of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy , Mr. Chiranjeevi recalled his association with Dr. Reddy since 1978.
In 2005, he had returned with the former Chief Minister after participating in ‘Kadapa Utsavulu’ in 2005 in the same Bell helicopter which crashed on September 2. At that time as it flew over Nallamala forests, YSR had pointed to him various places, including Nallamala and the adjoining Prakasam and Kurnool districts.
“It is quite frightening that it is the same Nallamala which claimed his life,” the Praja Rajyam chief said.
