Award for SP Balasubramaniam

Veteran playback singer S.P.Balasubramaniam, popularly known as SPB, will be presented the seventh annual Kopparapu Kavula Puraskaram in a function to be held at Kalabharati Auditorium in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday evening, Kopparapu Kavula Kalapeetham convener Maa Sarma said.

The previous recipients of the award include Peesapati Narasimhamurthy, Veturi Sundararamamurthy, Bethavolu Ramabrahmam, Medasani Mohan, Malladi Chandrasekhara Sastry and Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna.

Swami Siddehswarananada Bharathi of Courtalam Peetham, Satguru K. Sivanandamurthy of Anandavanam, renowned musician Nedunuri Krishnamurthy, 'Mahasahasravadhani' Garikapati Narasimharao, chairman of Vijay Nirman S. Vijaya Kumar, Nandi award winners Meegada Ramalingaswami and Rambhatla Nrusimha Sarma will be present on the dais on this happy occasion.
