'Chiru may align with Cong'

Praja Rajyam Party president Chiranjeevi might ultimately incline towards the Congress. This is the talk going on within the party circles. According to a senior leader, Chiru is fast losing hope on building up the party and take it to the level of the Congress and the Telugu Desam Party. Though he has given a hint to the TDP that the latter should bring all the opposition parties together, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has not responded positively. And Chiranjeevi, too, is apprehensive that as long as Nandamuri Balakrishna and Jr NTR is associated with the TDP, it is not possible to have any understanding with the TDP. So, the only option left for Chrianjeevi is to have an understanding with the Congress, if not merging the PRP with the Congress. “In the ongoing budget session, one can observe how Chiranjeevi would play his role; will he actively attack the Congress, or remain a passive player,” the leader added.
